Blessed beyond my wildest dreams

It has been quite a while since my last post, unfortunately when I decided to do a blog I did not take into account the time it would require from me to keep it up to date. In the past 9 months much has happened in the life of Photography by Frank Sanchez. My first month in absence from my log I started out with the engagement sitting for a very special couple, Elaine and Daniel on December 8,2006 at 6:30 am in South Beach. Elaine and Danny had ordered a beautiful guestbook containing many of their engagement portraits in it, therefore I suggested not only shooting at the beach, but going into the Art Deco District to capture them along with the beautiful architecture, and then off to Lincoln Road. Little did I know that we were starting a new trend with engagement sittings in Lincoln Road., as a few of our future brides have commented a few brides are now considering this venue for their engagement sittings. I arrived back at the office at 9:30am to refresh and change clothing, only to take off 1 hour later to join a great photographer from Los Angeles, and a friend John Solano at the Ritz Carlton South Beach for the wedding of Florida Marlin’s pitcher Dontrelle Willis and his beautiful bride Natalie. The actual ceremony took place at the beautiful St.Patrick’s Catholic Church in Miami Beach, with the reception following at the elegant Ritz Carlton South Beach. After the reception there was an after party which lasted till the early hours of the morning. The elegant event was attended by many professional players, as well as many of Dontrelle’s childhood friends, as well as his six grade teacher. To say that the event was lavish is an understatement, but what truly impressed me is Dontrelle’s genuine nature, despite all the fame and success he has not allowed this to change who he is as a very humble and caring person. Images from this event will be posted in the near future as a national publication has first publishing rights on the images. May The Lord continue to bless the Willis family in all their endeavors. As for us, this day is a reflection of how we have been in the past 9 months, very busy with work, thanks to all our faithful couples who have shared their experiences with their friends.
